Choose an image to read a QR code.
The reader looks for one QR code per image. Crop close to a code if your image contains several.
What’s inside?
This page does not open decoded links automatically. Check the destination before opening it. A QR can contain private details or an untrusted link.
Decoding an image does not visit its destination. Inspect the full contents, then choose whether to open a web link.
Read back your exported code
- Generate and download a QR code.
- Choose the saved PNG or JPG here, or use a screenshot of the code.
- Check that the text, URL or contact details match what you intended.
What stays local?
Image decoding takes place on your device in a background worker. The image and decoded contents are not uploaded to the Dr. QR API.
Does this prove it will scan in print?
No. A successful image decode is a useful check, but paper size, surface, lighting, damage and phone cameras also matter. Test your finished printed code on real devices.
PNG, JPG and WebP are supported. SVG, PDF and animated-image scanning are not supported here; export or capture a raster image first. Very small, blurred or dense codes may not decode.
Next: make another QR code, adjust styling or read the QR print guide.
