What the extension does locally in your browser
When you click the extension on a page, it reads information from that page to generate an on-page report. This can include:
- Page title and meta description
- Robots and canonical tags
- Headings (H1, H2, H3)
- Social tags (Open Graph and Twitter tags)
- Image information such as image URLs and alt text
- Link information such as link URLs and broken-link results
All processing happens locally in your browser.
What data leaves your browser
None. The extension does not transmit page data, URLs, or results to dr-qr.com or to any third party.
Downloads and clipboard
If you choose to export a report, download an image, or save a screenshot, the file is created locally and saved by your browser. If you click a copy button, the selected text is copied to your clipboard. These actions only happen when you click the relevant button.
Local storage
The extension may store non-identifying preferences on your device, such as your chosen mobile preview size or UI options. This is optional and is never used for tracking.
Permissions explained
The extension may request browser permissions to provide its features. These permissions are used only after your explicit interaction.
- activeTab: run on the page you are currently viewing after you click the extension
- scripting: inject the on-page inspection script into the current page after your click
- tabs: identify the active tab and enable screenshot features after your click
- downloads: save screenshots and exported files you requested
- clipboardWrite: copy report content when you click a copy button
- storage: save local preferences
Third-party services
None. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, trackers, or telemetry.
